Safer Internet Day 9.2.2021
Today, Tuesday, 9 February 2021, we celebrate the 18th edition of Safer Internet Day with actions taking place right across the globe. With a theme once again of "Together for a better internet", this day calls upon us all to join together to make the internet a safer and better place for everyone especially for children and young people.

Liverpool FC Virtual Tour
Liverpool Football Club are supporting Safer Internet Day today by holding a joint live virtual event with the UK Safer Internet Centre for schoolchildren across the country.
The free virtual event, which is aimed at schoolchildren in years five and six, aged 9 to 11 years old, will explore this year’s Safer Internet Day theme – an internet we trust: exploring reliability in the online world.
A mix of educational sessions delivered by teachers, and live interaction, will focus on how young people can decide what to trust and what to question online to enable them to challenge and change the online world for the better.
There will also be a range of special LFC guest appearances.
All participants will also have the chance to win some LFC-themed goody bags and experience a virtual tour of Anfield, home of the Reds, with the club’s official mascot, Mighty Red.
‘Safer Internet Day Live with Liverpool Football Club’ will take place today and will be streamed live from 1.30pm
