SCHOOL MEALS

Our kitchen provides a variety of healthy meal choices each day.  We encourage you to allow your child to try our school meals along with the rest of their class for at least the first couple of weeks of term.

For Years 3, 4, 5 and 6, the cost of a school meal is £2.42 per day - £12.10 per week.

Dinner money should be paid in advance each Monday morning, and placed in an envelope clearly marked with your child’s name, amount enclosed, and passed to the class teacher or the office. Any cheques should be made payable to ‘Sefton M.B.C.’. If arrears arise of 4 weeks, your child will be taken off school meals.

PACKED LUNCHES

In line with our school’s healthy eating policy, we ask that parents do not provide sweets, chocolate items or fizzy drinks in a child’s packed lunch.  Also, cans or glass bottles are not allowed for safety reasons.  We thank you for your support in this matter.

We ask that your child stays with their meal choice at least until the next half-term break. The school office should be informed of any changes. Thank you.

FREE SCHOOL MEALS

There are two types of Free School Meals – Universal Infant Free School Meals and Income Related Free School Meals:

Universal Free School Meals

For pupils who attend Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 they are eligible to receive Free School Meals regardless of their parent’s income.  You do not need to apply for these Free School Meals, however, if you are on a qualifying benefit we urge you to make a formal application for Free School Meals as this can benefit your child’s school as they can claim additional funding (Pupil Premium).
