Children enjoyed talking about their favourite day of the week. We recognised that everyone has special people they enjoy spending time with.
Children made a Menorah- a candle holder used by Jewish people during the festival of Hanukkah. It has nine branches and a space for nine candles.
Children gathered around the Menorah and we thought about what Hanukkah means for Jewish people. We talked about what we enjoyed about the topic and we all drew a candle to take home to remember Hanukkah.
