Star Worker
Each week we will have a new 'Star Worker'.
Our 'Star Worker' will be a pupil who has shown a great amount of resilience and has put in a great deal of effort into their school work, someone who engages with their learning each day and tries their best in everything they do.
Remember: 'Try your best, have lots of fun! Be proud of yourself when the day is done'.
Friday 26th February
This weeks 'Star Worker' is someone who is always trying their best to reach their goals no matter how big or small. Being faced with a challenging situation they have thrived and taken each and every challenge in their stride, not just this week but this whole term. This person is a brilliant artist, writer and everything in between. This week they have particularly thrived in art, in which we made some natural art inspired by Andy Goldsworthy. They have also shown their brilliant writing skills in our quality text lesson in which we have been writing our own rhymes. There are some examples of their excellent work below.
Friday 12th February
This weeks 'Star Worker' is someone who has tried their absolute best this week, putting so much effort into each and every piece of work. This person can sometimes find it hard to find the motivation to complete certain subjects but when they do, they produce amazing work. There are subjects this person particularly enjoys such as maths and our sessions of 'Draw with Rob' which they have put lots of time and effort into this week. They have also shown off their brilliant writing skills this week with their instructions on 'How to Plant a Seed', using their instruction writing checklist to make sure they have included all of the important features. There are some examples of their excellent work below.
Friday 5th February
This weeks 'Star Worker' is someone who completes all of their work every single day. They work so hard and put so much effort into each and every piece of work. They try their best in everything and make a point of going back and correcting work if there are any mistakes. This person tries their hand at all subjects, even the ones that aren't their favourite or take a little more persuasion to begin. This week, this person has shone particularly in our Quality text lesson in which we have been working on writing our very own instructions, using clear descriptions, imperative verbs and time connectives. They have also spent lots of time working hard on their drawings in our 'Draw with Rob' sessions. There are some examples of their work below.
