Jesus calls to the children.
Today we made lollipop photograph sticks to role play the story. We had lots of fun walking our figures towards the image of Jesus to join him for a story.
Baptism is an invitation to belong to God’s Family.
We had lots of fun role playing a Baptism this week. The Children could recognise different elements of a Baptism through images, symbols, photographs and real life objects of reference.
Advent/Christmas - Loving
Today the children began their lesson by learning all about waiting. They had to wait until everyone had done their learning to open a present from Mrs Walsh.
The Church’s celebrations are community occasions. On Sundays, the parish family gathers together. It is a time to remember how much there is to celebrate; a time to say thank you; a time to know that God’s love is offered
Jo was our class special visitor who came to t The Burrows to help us decorate biscuits.
Mass is the special meal that celebrates the Last Supper. This week we have been role playing the last supper.
SPRING WALK AROUND SCHOOL
This week we began our journey of lent by learning all about Ash Wednesday. The children role played giving and receiving Ashes.

Palm Sunday. When Jesus arrived at Jerusalem the people waved palms and shouted "Hosanna"
Pentecost - Serving. Holidays and Holydays. This week we have been learning all about holidays.
Daily Prayer and Worship
Daily Prayer and worship is a calm, reflective part of The Burrows day were we gather together as a group.
We listen to hymns and songs around our given theme, participating in prayer and worship activities and take time to be together.

Other Faiths
Muhammad preached kindness to all animals. The Burrows have been learning how to look after puppies.
