  • Flu Immunisation Programme

    Mon 16 Oct 2023

The nasal flu vaccination is being offered at school on Monday 16/10/23. To ensure your child does not miss out on their flu spray you must opt in or opt out here if you have not already done so - https://econsent.merseycare.nhs.uk/

If your child receives the flu vaccination at the GP you will need to inform the School Health Team on 0151 247 6130.

Please use the link to say YES or NO.

    Thank you for your co-operation.

  • Healthy Snack

    Mon 09 Oct 2023

    Dear parents and carers,

Once again, we must request that children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 only bring in fruit or vegetables as a snack at morning break.

We have had so many cereal bars, chocolate biscuits, crisps, and other items that just aren't healthy or fair to the other children who stick to this rule.

There is also a health and safety risk - some of these items can contain nuts, and we do have children who are allergic to nuts.  This could be a huge problem as some children are sharing their snacks.

If your child needs to bring a snack to enjoy at morning break, please only provide a piece of fruit or vegetables.

If children do bring in anything other than fruit or veg, they will be asked to keep them until home time.

    Thank you

  • Wear Yellow for Young Minds Charity

    Mon 02 Oct 2023

To show our support for World Mental Health Day, we would like to brighten up a school day by wearing yellow!

Children may come into school wearing something yellow in   addition to their uniform in exchange for a £1 donation. This could be anything from a yellow hair band, yellow socks or even a yellow scarf or hat - anything yellow!

Wearing something yellow on Tuesday 10th October will help spread the word that, whatever we are going through, we can talk to someone if we are struggling to cope.

All money raised will go towards the YoungMinds charity.
