Keep up to date with all the latest news and events happening in school.
On Thursday 21st October we will be holding a "Go Green" day in support of CAFOD.
This autumn, leading up to the climate talks in November, we are asking you to Go Green by taking on a climate-related fundraising challenge. Together we can shine a light on some of the causes of the climate emergency while doing our bit to guard God's creation and protect our common home. Your kind contributions will raise money to help tackle poverty caused by the climate crisis.
On Thursday 21st October, we would like children to come into school wearing their own clothes, but one item of clothing must be GREEN!
In return, we are asking for a contribution of £1 and some non-perishable cans or packets of food which we can donate to the local food bank. Whatever you do to Go Green for CAFOD, we thank you in advance for your great generosity.
We are collecting non-perishable items for this year’s Harvest collection. These will then be donated to our local food bank who will distribute it to those who require a helping hand within the local area. The following items will be of great help:
Tinned food
Tinned or boxes of biscuits
Packet soups
Chocolate spread
Breakfast and cereal bars
Pasta ‘n Sauce pouches
Rice and pasta
Tea bags
We would be grateful if you could pass these donations into school by Wednesday 20th October.
Thank you
To show our support for World Mental Health Day, on Friday 8th October we would like to spread the joy by wearing yellow!
Children may come into school wearing a yellow item along with their uniform in exchange for a £1 donation (or more if you wish). This could be anything from a yellow hair band, yellow socks or even a yellow scarf or hat - anything yellow!
By wearing something yellow we will help spread the word that, whatever we are going through, we can talk to someone if we are struggling to cope.
All money raised will go towards the YoungMinds charity.
