  • World Book Day

    Thu 07 Mar 2019

On Thursday 7th March we will be celebrating World Book Day by having a "Bedtime Stories" theme.  Children should come to school in their uniform as usual, and bring their pyjamas/dressing gown/slippers to change into in school, and bring their favourite story to read and share with other the children.

  • The Momo Challenge

    Wed 27 Feb 2019

It has come to our attention that some of our children are aware of a sickening game "The Momo Challenge".  We would like to urge all parents to read through the factsheets in our E-safety section and to be vigilant - knowing what your children are accessing when they are playing on their gaming devices.  Thank you.

  • Attendance - Week Ending 15/02/2019

    Fri 15 Feb 2019

Attendance for Week Ending 15th February was very poor as it dropped right down to 85.6%.  We had so many children absent in Reception class due to Chicken Pox, so this had a huge impact on their figures.  Other classes could do so much better please!

  • Attendance - Week Ending 08/02/2019

    Fri 08 Feb 2019

This week our attendance has fallen by more than 3% to 91%.  There are a lot of genuine illnesses in Reception Class over the last couple of weeks with a lot of them coming down with Chicken Pox!

There are many children coming to school late - after the gate closes at 8:55 am.  If your child is late, the minutes are added to their record.  If a child arrives after the register closes at 9:30 am, this is equivalent to an absence for the morning session.  10 unauthorised sessions result in a fixed penalty notice request to Sefton.

Children who are in school 100% of the week are entered into a draw to win a small prize.

Don't be late, beat the gate!!
