Keep up to date with all the latest news and events happening in school.
We have recieved a letter from the NHS, for us to give out to parents as it provides important information on looking out for Covid-19 symptoms, when you should book a test for your child, and who needs to self-isolate and when. Children do not need a test if they have a normal cold, and can come to school if they feel well.

Dear Parents / carers,
Because some of our neighbouring schools have had to temporarily close class bubbles due to positive cases of Covid-19, we want to do everything we possibly can to keep our children, staff and parents safe.
The levels of Covid-19 cases in Liverpool and Sefton are high and increasing every day, so local authorities are now making it essential that parents and carers wear face coverings when collecting and dropping off children at school.
We must now insist that our parents/carers wear a face covering before they enter the school grounds, and only one parent or carer should do the drop off / collection of children.
We thank you in advance for ensuring greater levels of safety in our school and community.
Sefton have provided a useful flow chart for parents to follow should their child become unwell for any reason. There is also an FAQ section and information on how to book a Covid-19 test if necessary.
Please click HERE to view the full leaflet.
Please see the "Letters Home" section of the website for the latest update to the plan to return to school on Thursday 3rd September. In the meantime, the drop off / pick up times are listed below. Allowances will be made for families to use the same time slot.

The Government has clearly set out the expectation that all children should return to school in September. You can read the full guidance in the link below.
We expect to see all of our children back full time on Thursday 3rd September in full school uniform, including correct school shoes. As has been the case since the wider opening to Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 from 22nd June, measures, policies and risk assessments have been put in place to ensure the safety of all of our children and staff, but will be on a larger scale from September. Classes will remain in their own bases, lunch times and drop/off pick up times will be staggered, staff will still promote social distancing and frequent hand-washing, and focus will be on the children's mental health and well-being.
Keep checking back for updates.
We are delighted that so many children have signed up to our Summer Camp over the summer holidays!
There are still a few places available in most of the groups across the six weeks. To view the timetable click HERE If your child hasn't signed up yet, please contact the school office for more information.
Dear parents and carers,
We have reached the end of the first week of being open to Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 pupils, alongside the children of key worker parents and other families who need us.
We can honestly say that, despite the need for caution and venturing into something new and strange to us all, it has gone smoothly. The children, particularly the younger ones, have been absolute stars with the extra hand-washing and social distancing, and we are so proud of them all. They are a credit to you.
If your child is in one of the eligible groups with spaces left, and you are thinking of requesting one of the available places, please contact the school to discuss this before sending your child in as there is a process to follow. Many thanks.
We currently have 49 pupils on our list in total, spread out across our "bubbles" as follows:
| BUBBLE GROUP | NUMBER |
FULL ACCORDING TO SPACE AVAILABLE |
|---|---|---|
| Reception (plus Key Worker Nursery) | 15 | FULL |
| Year 1 | 13 | SPACES |
| Year 6 (plus Key Worker Y5) | 11 | SPACES |
|
Key Worker Bubble |
10 | FULL |

Dear parents / carers,
Sefton have written to schools informing them that they should re-open next week as planned to Reception, Year 1 and Year 6, alongside the provision already in place for children of key worker parents.. See the full letter HERE.
We have written/sent emails to those parents who expressed a wish for their child(ren) to return to school next week, starting Tuesday 23rd June (Monday will be staff training), to provide the reopening plan and a Home-School Agreement for parents and children to read, sign and return to school.
We will be adhering to social distancing measures throughout our school building and grounds. We have asked that only one parent/family member do the school run, and that allocated drop-off and collection times are punctual. We will expect parents / carers to use the 2 meters apart rule while on the school grounds. This is to ensure the safety of all children, staff and parents. We thank you for your cooperation with this important matter.
We look forward to welcoming those children back next week - we really have missed them all!
Stay safe.
